Description
The Big Sky Winterfest is a fun filled day of cross-country ski and snowshoe races, aimed at getting locals and visitors alike out and about and enjoying the snow. The day consists of six races around a 1K loop, a 4-person team relay, a dog ski-jorring race, and an adult pulling a child in a sled race, a snowshoe shuffle, three-legged races and an anything that glides event.
Participants can pre-register for the events or can register the day of the event. Prizes are given for each 1st and 2nd place in each race with other prizes given through raffles. Following the events there will be music at the nearby Lone Wolf Saloon. |
Directions
Winterfest will be in the Meadow Village area in Big Sky, turn west off of Highway 191, follow road for about 2 1/2 miles, Winterfest course will be set up on the golf course.
